LaBS



LaBS provides a unique solution to highly complex fluid dynamics problems, allowing engineers to accurately simulate unsteady aerodynamics and aeroacoustics. Excellent correlations between simulation and experiments mean that LaBS allows shortening product development cycles and reducing costs by eliminating the need for expensive prototypes.


Based on the lattice Boltzmann method and optimized for High Performance Computing (HPC), LaBS has distinct advantages over other Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) softwares:

·         Aeroacoustics
Advanced turbulence modeling approaches (LES, WMLES & DNS) allow LaBS to solve compressible flows accurately enough to directly compute the aeroacoustic sources and their propagation in the computational domain.   

·         Best-in-class results
Whether it is transient aerodynamics or aeroacoustics, LaBS provides best-in class results without compromising computational time. Simulation turnaround time is minimized thanks to an accurate, efficient and highly scalable lattice Boltzmann algorithm.

·         Code customization
The source codes for the numerical models implemented in LaBS are provided so that advanced users can easily adapt them to their applications. Those models include the wall-law, the subgrid-scale model and the complete lattice Boltzmann numerical scheme!
