Software and System Avionic Engineer/ Embedded Software Specialist:

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

Experience in a similar position and experience in aeronautic;
Knowledge of testing tools Rational RTRT and / or LDRA;
Good knowledge of communication protocols ARINC 429, CANbus and Power PC;
Knowledge of the SCADE tool (asset);
Knoledge of the V development cycle;
Knowledge of DO-178B;
Good knowledge of Matlab / Simulink;
Bachelor or Master degree in computer engineering or electrical (ideally concentration avionics or embedded systems);
Team player with great attention to detail;
Bilingual French and English.

Engineer Embedded Software Development (avionics) / A Specialist in embedded software development (avionics)

Responsibilities:

Develop / update the software requirements from system requirements;
Perform design software;
Establish and enforce standards development process and complies with DO-178B;
Perform tests required depending on the module;
Understand the system requirements, test plans and develop models and test scripts;
Coordinate the integration of software packages;
Perform reviews to ensure quality and compliance processes.

Requirements:

Bachelor or Master degree in computer engineering or software;
Minimum 3 years experience;
Mastery in embedded software development in real time (ideally in Aerospace);
Mastery in C programming language;
Good knowledge of various methodologies, software testing (Black Box vs White Box, Hardware vs. Software integration and integration testing);
Good knowledge of design methodology;
Experience in requirements management using DOORS;
Experience in tools for software configuration management as PVCS / ClearCase / Visual Source Safe;
Mastery of analysis tools source code (LDRA / RTRT / Vector Cast);
Mastery of the development cycle in V
Knowledge of DO-178B;
Fluent in spoken and written.
