12-2009 : CS Canada Expands its Customer Base for Critical Software Development and Testing Services


Montreal, December 9, 2009 – CS Canada, a subsidiary of CS Communication & Systèmes, announced today that it has concluded an important agreement with a major US turbine engine supplier to provide engine control software development and testing services for a new engine series. This mandate reflects a commitment from CS to a long-term business relationship that will see a close cooperative effort throughout the program life of this engine family.

Over the years, CS has developed a number of technological tools to improve its capabilities and efficiency. Software code generation and verification platforms have been designed and implemented to better serve its customers. CS Canada uses a number of efficient traceability, configuration management, and verification tools to realize its mandates. Information exchange with the customers is done via a secured server to ensure information integrity and confidentiality.

Test and simulation equipment are regularly designed/built using the latest technologies, and used to perform required integration and system testing. This equipment is designed using off-the-shelf components for with or without hardware-in-the-loop testing. This results in cost competitive services and test equipment that are easy to maintain and modify. The customer will benefit from CS type certification expertise, code generation experience and quick reaction time to day-to-day challenges.
